Christos Bourantas was born and raised in Arta, Greece. He has a degree in Architecture from the NTU Athens and has been awarded as an architect in the past, while retaining a pure passion for storytelling. He has broad experience in publishing (comics, illustrations) and music/sound design. In the recent years he has been working in the field of digital media as a 3D designer, artist, animator and filmmaker. "Aurelia" (2015) is his first animated short film. He lives in Athens.

Unwittingly promoted to whistleblower in case of toxic gas attacks, a country rat tells about his daily life in the trenches during the Great War. The point of view is original, critical and humorous, and at the same time compassionate with the «poilu» (the WWI French soldier), portrayed as a rat trapped in a cage in the midst of this monstrously absurd conflict.

Ivan Bogdanov (1973) and Vessela Dantcheva (1975) are a director duo who have been working together for 15 years. In 2002, they graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. In 2004, they co-founded FinFilm animation studio and in 2008 they founded Compote Collective production company in Sofia, Bulgaria. They made several films together, including the internationally acclaimed Father (2012) and Anna Blume (2009), which screened at numerous film festivals around the world.

Summer in a small village in a plain and arid region of central Spain. Prying neighbours, mourning rituals, tediousness, extreme heat and undertones of guilt make a perfect soil for madness. The old woman will try to bring her late husband back by means of twisted rituals.

Sois de Traca is the collaborative duo formed by animation filmmakers María Álvarez and Elisa Morais. They met while studying engineering and together gradually turned to hand-drawn animation and storytelling. In their films they strive to combine traditional disciplines and media with new technologies producing also media art, interactive and projection mapping installations. Always drawn to life's small details and to explore the fine line between drama and comedy. Influenced by surrealism, absurdism and rhythmic structures they try to capture daily inconsistencies, glimpses of human nature and oneiric landscapes. A badger lies motionless on a local road. A police patrol approaches the body in the dark. They soon realise that the animal is not dead; the badger is dead drunk! When the police attempt to drag the creature off the road, he wakes up and things take a strange turn.

Špela Čadež was born in Slovenia 1977. After graduating in Graphic Design in 2002 she continued her studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany. During her studies she made two puppet animations that gained international recognition: Mate to Measure (2004) and Lovesick (2007). Since 2008 Spela Cadez has been working as an independent animation director and producer. Her latest film Boles has been screened worldwide, receiving 50 awards, distinctions and nominations.

Now thanks to the possibilities offered by the animation, one could fulfill their dream and give characters motion. Prehistoric artists painting suggest a plot of each film episode.

Witold Giersz was born in Poraj, Poland; he is animator, scriptwriter, designer, director. He has made about 60 animated films such as "Little Western"1960, "Awaiting" 1962, "Red and Black" 1963, "The Horse" 1967, "Marvelous March" 1970, "Fire" 1975, "The Star" 1984, "Rondo alla Turca"1993, "In the Cave of Mountain King" 1996, "Signum" 2013. He apply his technique of animation – painting on the board under the camera. His films won about 80 festival prizes in Oberhausen, Cannes, Turin, London, Paris, Cracow, Cork, Edinburgh, Mamaia, San Francisco, Melbourne, Moscow, Adelaide, Auckland, Honolulu, Teheran, Alexandria, Santa Barbara, Necochea, La Ferguere, among others.
